THE DAY BEFORE - Have we forgotten anything?

Tomorrow we will set off on a very exciting trip with Great Rail Journeys -  'Jewels of Japan,' a 14 day, full on journey through the major highlights of Japan. You will see from the map above that we are covering a fair distance during our stay, with several trips on the famous bullet train, another iconic train journey for Trev to cross off his list! One of the highlights for me  will be being able to view Mount Fuji, something I have always wanted to see since having Japan as a primary school project many years ago!

It's been a bit daunting getting everything ready, as it's been a few years since we have taken a long haul holiday and the changeable weather forecast hasn't been much help either, with clothes needed for almost all eventualities. Still, the suitcases are packed (and they actually close without us needing to sit on them!) and we just have our final bits of hand luggage to organise in the morning. Hopefully we will,both manage a decent night's sleep tonight🤞
